Over the past few months, a group from the local church has begun volunteering at our largest apartment complex. They have been assisting with minor maintenance projects in addition to building relationships with the families, especially the children.
As they interact more with the children and find new activities to engage the families in, it has become apparent that transportation is an issue.
The volunteers' goal is to raise enough money through tax-deductible donations to acquire a 15 passenger van for Network. This will allow them to transport up to 14 children at a time to AWANA, the YMCA, the library, and other field trips as well as meet the needs of families living in the Venture complex without transportation.
All funds donated to this cause will be used for: purchasing, licensing, registration, and insurance; both for this year and subsequent years if funds remain.
