Network Tacoma assists homeless families with children by providing housing, resources and a program to help them achieve self-sufficiency.
Network is a non-profit Washington corporation that has served the greater Tacoma area since 1993. Recognizing the need for long-term solutions for homeless families with children, Network's transitional housing program utilizes a three-step process to move families from homelessness and poverty to self-sufficiency: screening, crisis intervention and long-term planning. The Faces & Families of Network Tacoma
Our ultimate concerns are for homeless
children. Children need security and a safe environment. They don't have
this when their family is homeless. This necessitates working with the
parents towards a goal of self-sufficiency so they, in time, can provide
this for their family.
