Network Tacoma assists homeless families with children by providing
Network is a non-profit Washington corporation that has served the greater Tacoma area since 1993. Recognizing the need for long-term solutions for homeless families with children, Network's transitional housing program utilizes a three-step process to move families from homelessness and poverty to self-sufficiency: screening, crisis intervention and long-term planning.
Our name 'Network' was chosen because we accomplish our goals with a network of churches, individuals, businesses, and foundations. They assist us with providing the necessary resources of skills, time and money to assist homeless families with children under 18 years of age.
Our ultimate concerns are for homeless children. Children need security and a safe environment. They don't have this when their family is homeless. This necessitates working with the parents towards a goal of self-sufficiency so they, in time, can provide this for their family. |
